OmniTintAI ("App") is operated by Luxwave ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using OmniTintAI, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use OmniTintAI. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
OmniTintAI is currently available in the United States only. We reserve the right to expand availability to additional regions at our discretion.
2. Account & Device Identification
OmniTintAI generates an anonymous device identifier on first launch to manage your usage limits, credit balances, and preferences. This identifier is not linked to your real name, email, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily create an account.
If you create an account via email, your authentication is handled by Google Firebase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
You may use one account per person. Creating multiple accounts or device identifiers to circumvent usage limits is a violation of these Terms.
3. Service Description
OmniTintAI provides the following hair color and style intelligence services:
- a) 3D AR Hair Try-On — Real-time augmented reality hair color overlay using on-device face detection. Processed entirely on your device.
- b) 2D AI Hair Try-On — AI-generated image showing you with a selected hairstyle or color. Your photo is sent to a third-party AI processing service for generation. Subject to usage limits and credit system.
- c) Hair Scanner — AI-powered cosmetic analysis of your hair color, face shape, undertone, and hair texture. This is NOT a medical or health assessment.
- d) Trend Radar — Curated, AI-analyzed hair trend feed updated regularly (approximately every 48 hours).
- e) AI Chat & Styling (Omni Stylist) — Conversational AI for cosmetic hair care advice and color recommendations. Not a substitute for professional consultation.
- f) Product Discovery — Hair product recommendations with links to third-party retailers (Amazon).
- g) Smart Shade Suggestions — AI-generated personalized shade recommendations based on your scan results. Not endorsements by any product manufacturer.
- h) Stylist Card — Shareable card with your try-on result and catalog shade information for salon reference. For cosmetic visualization only.
- i) Before/After Compare — Interactive comparison slider for your original photo and AI-generated results.
- j) Saved Face Photo — Optional on-device storage of your face photo for faster try-on generation. Stored locally only, never uploaded to our servers for storage. Transmitted to our AI processing service only when you initiate a try-on.
- k) AI Training Contribution (Opt-In Only) — With your affirmative consent enabled in Settings (OFF by default), anonymized images from your use of hair mixer, 3D AR try-on, and 2D AI try-on may be used to improve our AI models. Images are EXIF-stripped, keyed to an anonymized device hash only, and never linked to your real identity. Entirely optional, revocable at any time in Settings, does not affect your access to any feature.

a) Free Tier
- 3D AR Hair Color Try-On: Unlimited sessions for personal use (on-device)
- 2D AI Hair Try-On: 3 generations per week (512px, resets weekly, unused do not carry over)
- Hair Scanner: 1 scan free, then 14-day cooldown
- AI Hairstyles: 2 lifetime generations
- 360° Preview: 1 per week
- Hair Mixer Pro: 1 session per week
- Trend Radar: Full browsing access
- AI Chat (Omni Stylist): 3 messages per day
- Exports: Includes OmniTintAI watermark
- Advertisements: Ad-supported. Interstitial ads before AI results; optional rewarded video ads for bonus uses.
- Smart Shade Suggestions: Visible but locked (Premium feature)
- Stylist Card: Not available on free tier
- Before/After Compare: Visible but locked (Premium feature)
- Saved Face Photo: Not available on free tier
b) Premium Subscription
Price: $9.99 per month (or as displayed at time of purchase)
Billing: Recurring monthly via Google Play
Cancellation: Cancel anytime through Google Play subscription management
Refunds: Handled by Google Play per their refund policy
Premium unlocks unlimited (fair use) access to all features, maximum resolution (1024px), custom color selection for try-ons, ZERO ads, saved face photo, smart shade suggestions, stylist card, before/after compare, and priority processing.
"Unlimited (fair use)" means usage consistent with a single individual using the App for personal hair exploration. We reserve the right to apply reasonable hidden limits to prevent automated abuse. These limits are set high enough that normal personal use will never reach them.
c) Try-On Credits (Consumable Purchases)
- 1 Credit: $1.99 (single generation at maximum resolution)
- 15 Credits: $9.99 (best value — $0.67 per generation)
- Credits are PERMANENT — they never expire and never reset
- Credits are NON-REFUNDABLE once purchased. All credit sales are final, subject to Google Play's refund policies.
- Credits are tied to your device identifier and are not transferable
- Free/premium daily uses are consumed first; credits are used only after free uses are exhausted
- Credit balances are stored server-side and persist across app reinstallation on the same device
d) General Pricing Terms
All prices are in US dollars and subject to applicable taxes. Prices may change with reasonable notice. All purchases processed through Google Play. We do not directly process or store payment card information.
5. Fair Use Policy
OmniTintAI is designed for personal, non-commercial use by individual consumers. You agree NOT to:
- Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or scrapers to access the App or its services
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content generated by the App
- Use the App to provide services to third parties
- Create multiple accounts or device identifiers to circumvent usage limits
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Attempt to access the App's backend APIs directly outside of the App interface
- Use generated images for defamatory, harassing, or illegal purposes
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that exhibit patterns of automated or abusive usage.
6. Intellectual Property
- a) App Ownership. OmniTintAI, including its code, user interface, branding, algorithms, and proprietary color intelligence database, is the intellectual property of Luxwave. All rights reserved.
- b) Color Intelligence Database. Our database of hair color analysis data is proprietary data independently generated through our AI analysis systems. This data constitutes Luxwave's trade secret and intellectual property.
- c) AI-Generated Content. You retain ownership of your original photos. AI-generated output images are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
- d) User Content. You retain all rights to photos you upload. By using the App, you grant Luxwave a limited, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service.
AI Training License (Opt-In Only). If — and only if — you affirmatively opt in to training-data sharing in Settings, you additionally grant Luxwave a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use anonymized, EXIF-stripped versions of such photos, AR frame captures, and AI-generated outputs to train and improve our AI models. This training license is revocable at any time by disabling the toggle in Settings, which immediately halts all further collection. Revocation applies prospectively; anonymized data already incorporated into trained model weights cannot be individually extracted but will never be used to identify you.
- e) Feedback. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the App may be used by Luxwave without obligation to you.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- AI-generated results are APPROXIMATIONS and may not accurately represent how a hair color or style will appear in real life
- Results may vary based on lighting, photo quality, hair texture, and other factors
- The App is NOT a substitute for professional colorist consultation
- Actual hair dye results depend on your natural hair color, condition, application technique, and the specific product used
- We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of color matching between AI previews and real-world results
8. Third-Party Services & Affiliate Disclosure
- a) Amazon Associates Program. OmniTintAI is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product discovery and product links are always available to ALL users — never gated behind a paywall. Our affiliate relationship does not affect the price you pay.
- b) Advertising. We use Google AdMob for advertising to free-tier users. Premium users see no advertisements.
- c) AI Processing. When you use 2D AI try-on or Hair Scanner, your photos are sent to third-party AI processing services. Photos are used solely to deliver the requested service and are not permanently stored by our service providers after processing.
- d) Payments. All subscription and credit purchases are processed through Google Play. We do not directly process or store payment card information.
9. User Conduct
You agree to use OmniTintAI in compliance with all applicable laws. You will not use the App to upload illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive content; impersonate any person; violate third-party intellectual property or privacy rights; transmit viruses or malware; or interfere with the App's services.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to OmniTintAI at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination for cause, purchased credits that have not been used are forfeited. Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
OMNITINTAI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUXWAVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
13. Dispute Resolution
- a) Informal Resolution. Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
- b) Binding Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in the state of Delaware or remotely at your election.
- c) Class Action Waiver. YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
- d) Small Claims Exception. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court.
- e) Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of OmniTintAI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
